Hunter, the new album by Anna Calvi, an artist nominated for the Brit Awards as well as the Mercury Music Prize twice, is released by Domino. Produced by Nick Launay (Nick Cave, Grinderman), the album was recorded at Konk Studios in London and in Los Angeles with Anna's band: Mally Harpaz on various instruments, Alex Thomas on drums, but also with the help of Adrian Utley from Portishead on keyboards and Martyn Casey from The Bad Seeds on bass. This album is raw and imbued with a primal energy with which Anna Calvi pushes the boundaries of her guitar and her voice, as she has never done before.
