The queen of the American indie scene is releasing a new EP made up of 5 covers of 80s classics. Angel Olsen has announced a new EP of covers titled "Aisles." It is a selection of 80s covers. Among these are tracks by Billy Idol, Alphaville, and Orchestral Manoeuvres in The Dark. "I know it’s not really in my history to do something so unplanned or for fun, but my connection to these songs is pretty simple," Olsen said in a press release. "I just wanted to have a little fun and be a little more spontaneous, and I think I needed to remind myself that I was capable of that!" Olsen recorded Aisles in the winter of 2020 at Drop of Sun Studios in Asheville with co-producer and engineer Adam McDaniel. "I told Adam I had an idea to record covers and have some of the band come in and be a part of the mix, or add other players," Olsen said.Aucune piste renseignée.
