Description

1974: For their 4th album, ANGE, the leader of the French progressive scene, decided to sing about their roots. The band drew inspiration from the tales and legends of eastern France, with Emile Jacotey, a farrier and formidable storyteller, as the common thread, lending his name to the album. ANGE received a gold record for this album, which remains the band's biggest success to date. 2014: ANGE re-recorded their legendary album in its entirety under the title "Emile Jacotey Résurrection" with new arrangements, extensions for some tracks, as well as four new creations (legends of the past and future), unreleased interventions by Emile Jacotey, and an extended version for "Ode à Emile." 2025: Christian Décamps, the iconic singer of ANGE, performs his final tour, including two sold-out concerts at the Olympia. For the occasion, "Emile Jacotey Résurrection" is released for the first time on vinyl, in a superb limited edition gatefold double red vinyl.
