Andrew Fairweather-Low, born on August 2, 1948, in Cardiff, is a Welsh guitarist, singer-songwriter, and performer. He is a founding member of the British pop group Amen Corner and in recent years has toured with Roger Waters, Eric Clapton, and Bill Wyman. *Flang Dang* is Andy's first solo album since 2006. After a sixteen-year hiatus, he is back to his sweet and soulful musical best with the kind of record that is sure to delight his fans. Every song on the album was written by Andy and exudes the blues and gospel style he has made his own. He recorded everything at Kingsley Ward's Rockfield Studio in Wales, with drummer Paul Beavis providing the healthiest heartbeats for this new body of work from Andy. The entire album has the patina of maturity you would expect from someone with such experience as a musician and a gentleman.
