The two legends Jon Anderson and Jean-Luc Ponty have combined their talents to form a new group: the Anderson Ponty Band! Original singer of YES for 35 years, Jon Anderson also has a busy solo career with collaborations with Vangelis or Tangerine Dream. A superstar violinist since the 60s, Jean-Luc Ponty is a pioneer and an undisputed master of Jazz/Rock fusion, as evidenced by his numerous solo albums or collaborations with Frank Zappa or the Mahavishnu Orchestra. For their first album, Better Late Than Never, Anderson Ponty Band revisits with new energy and new arrangements some hits from YES like "Owner Of A Lonely Heart," "Roundabout," and "Wonderous Stories," but also some compositions by Jean-Luc Ponty enhanced by Jon Anderson's vocals. As a bonus, a DVD of the exceptional concert given by the group on September 20, 2014, in Aspen.
