Through this revolutionary Afro-European music, they infuse Roots, Hip Hop, and Bashment sounds with their orientalist and dubwise style. Lifelong devotees of Nyabingi music, ANCIENT STRONAUTS apply its percussive and hypnotic sounds to each of their tracks, adding a timeless and organic quality to contemporary urban music. All vocal recordings were made at the studio of their long-time partners, East African Records (EAR), a community organization in Kampala that supports up-and-coming artists.
