"A Vision of A Dying Embrace" contains a night of enthralling Doom Metal, drawn from Anathema’s 1996 live concert in Krakow, Poland. Although the band was still in their early years, and rhythm guitarist Vincent Cavanagh had only relatively recently taken over vocal duties for the sublime opus "The Silent Enigma", the set contains a selection of now well-established classics from Anathema’s first two studio albums and the "Pentecost III" EP, with epics such as "A Dying Wish", "Sleepless" and "Mine is Yours" captured in their purest, rawest live form.
