It was in September 1973 that Amon Düül II's sixth album, Vive La Trance, a captivating record produced by a new team, was released. The band experimented with world music rhythms on their track 'Mozambique', and dared to use unusual dissonant pianos on 'Jalousie', while crafting unstoppable rock tracks such as 'Trap', 'Dr. Jeckyll' and 'Pig Man'. Ultimately, the album Vive La Trance is above all a masterpiece that combines versatile rock with black humor, its sensuality, and a healthy dose of acerbic sarcasm made in Düül.
