A new universe that is very percussive, danceable, and festive
12 new original tracks for a rhythmic and cheerful album. A colorful response to the previous album Jusqu'à la Mer which was introspective, very woody, like a precious cocoon. This new opus will be marked by the use of a large number of percussions or rhythmic elements. A large part of the songs was composed from a rhythm, rather than from a harmony or chord progression.
The arrangements will therefore take a much sharper and dynamic path. They will highlight the percussions, but also the striking folk guitars, mandolin, harmonica, slide, and of course piano and voice. A tribal side at times, around lyrics that speak of filiation, of connections between people, of ecology as well, of solidarity and hope.
