Description

Aluna George is the result of the fusion between singer Aluna Francis and producer/keyboardist George Reid, former guitarist of the band Colour. In 2011, the London electro duo made a name for themselves by remixing a small selection of contemporary pop hits, from "Into The Heart" by Mirrors to "Born To Die" by Lana Del Rey, including "I'm His Girl" by New Yorkers Friends. In June 2012, their dubstep R&B-influenced track "You Know You Like It" was released in a three-track format on the New York independent label Tri-Angle (Balam Acab, How to Dress Well). The track was covered in 2015 by DJ Snake and has seen enormous success since: it has accumulated over 250 million streams worldwide (over 12 million in France), is in heavy rotation on all the radio stations in the hexagon, 5th in radio airplay, #1 on Shazam, Top 5 in streams. The first single from their new album "I Remember" to be released on September 19, "I'm In Control" was in the Top 10 of high rotation radio in France and Top 20 on Shazam. The new single "I Remember" has just been sent to radio.
