Alpha Blondy is the most well-known Francophone reggae singer, which does not prevent him from expressing himself in the language of his origins, Dioula, as well as in the language of Bob Marley, English, because his goal is to reach the largest audience possible. Accompanied by Youssou n’Dour, Fally Ipupa, and Angélique Kidjo on this new album "Human Race" set to be released on August 31, he addresses societal issues and even covers "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin and "Je suis venu te dire que je m’en vais" by Serge Gainsbourg. With nearly twenty studio albums to his credit, Alpha Blondy has been touring the world, and at 65 years old, he shows no signs of retirement.
