The soul gem Aloe Blacc is back with Wake Me Up, an EP of 4 new tracks as an introduction to his new album available in early 2014. It was with the hit I Need A Dollar that Aloe Blacc found success. The single sold over 2 million copies and the album Good Things is certified gold in France, Germany, and England, selling 1 million units worldwide. More recently, it is to the world of electro that the singer reaches out by collaborating with Swedish DJ and producer Avicii. Together they composed the hit Wake Me Up! for which Aloe lends his voice. Immediate success: Wake Me Up! reached number 1 in 70 countries and sold over 1,000,000 copies worldwide. To kick off his return, it is with the acoustic version of Wake Me Up that Aloe Blacc intends to showcase the extent of his vocal qualities.
