Le 19 avril, Allegaeon release their new album «Apoptosis», on Metal Blade Records. A creation bordering on perfection, a true symbiosis between technique and melody. A powerful and inventive album, which demonstrates agility and intelligence. Recorded at Flatline Audio Studio in Denver by their longtime producer: Dave Otero (Cattle Decapitation, Cephalic Carnage), «Apoptosis» is the 5th album of the band and the first on which bassist Brandon Michael makes his studio debut. «Musically, Brandon brings a new powerful dimension» enthusiastically says Riley McShane, singer. «He has a very extensive musical background, his analytical skills have allowed many tracks on the album to come to life». This record also features the great classical guitarist Christina Sandsengen in a duet with guitarist Greg Burgess on the track «Colors of the Currents». Michael Stancel (guitarist of the band) admits to being «more open to new ideas than before on this record». This feeling of novelty and boldness is carried throughout the album while maintaining the pure identity of Allegaeon that has led fans to follow them until now.
