Unavailable in all formats since the early 2000s, Alison Brown's GRAMMY-nominated debut album, SIMPLE PLEASURES, was a breakthrough for Scruggs-style banjo playing upon its original release in 1990. For the 2024 reissue, the original 8-track and 1" multi-track tapes have been transferred at a resolution of 192 kHz/36 bits, then remixed and mastered.
