For the first time, she sings only in French on this 3rd album, composed of 12 tracks and simply titled Alice.
Alice on the Roof already boasts a 10-year career, 2 albums (including one certified gold in Belgium), an essential role as a coach on The Voice Kids in her home country, the anthem for the 20th anniversary of gay marriage, emotionally charged concerts, and a recent duet with Albin de la Simone.
On this new, entirely French-language album, she addresses the transition to adulthood: accepting her fragility and discovering her strength. She agrees to face herself and embrace who she is, because Alice is shy, very shy indeed. And yet, she sings, writes, composes, bares her soul, and puts herself out there. This album is like an intimate museum where each song becomes a room to explore.
