This is the second solo album from Alex Bleeker, a member of REAL ESTATE. Across 11 tracks, he explores the autumn of love and its loss, the intense confusion that precedes Bécaud’s question: "Et Maintenant Que Vais-Je Faire?" (And Now What Am I Going To Do?). Accompanied by his Freaks (Amelia Meath from Mountain Man's, Jarvis Taveniere from Woods, Jackson Pollis from Real Estate, Sam Franklin from Big Troubles, among others!), he sings concise songs with wisdom, not self-flagellation, built around jam sessions, featuring crystalline guitar and heavy bass. But this is not so much an album of tearful or angry breakup as it is an album of growth, of precision. A coming-of-age album!
