Franco-British artist, born in the suburbs of Birmingham in 1993, Albert Newton welcomes us into the metaphysical universe of his debut album "Twin Earth", scheduled for release on February 9, 2024 on Byebye records. After a first EP "Bedroom Posters (Spring)" released in 2020, Henry meets quantum mechanics researchers and other astrophysics enthusiasts who open his eyes to the beauty and reality of the world around him. This discovery quickly becomes an obsession and a major inspiration for the writing of his first album "Twin Earth". An album of 10 tracks influenced as much by Bowie, Phillip Glass, Tame Impala as Solange. Produced by Max Baby (Hannah Jadagu, Goldie Boutilier, Ichon). In his lyrics, he maps out traditional sentimental emotions as well as their place in celestial urbanism. Nothing is ever perfect on the blue planet, but Albert Newton looks at it with tenderness and gratitude, and communicates an optimism we greatly need.
