Alan Sparhawk follows up his acclaimed 2024 album, White Roses, My God, by leaning into the roots, folk, and bluegrass styles of his backing band, Trampled by Turtles. For decades, he built an emotional music with his wife and longtime creative partner, Mimi Parker, in the band Low. Alan Sparhawk turned to his fellow musicians from Trampled by Turtles to create his latest album. Friends and mentors of Low, taken under Sparhawk and Parker's wing from their early days as a bar band, Trampled by Turtles have played with Sparhawk countless times over the years.
