Excalibur IV The Dark Age of the Dragon

Description

Excalibur is a Celtic rock opera, in three parts, written and directed by the Breton folk-rock musician Alan Simon whose project dating back to 1992 only materialized in 1998. The following year a concept album was released under the title Excalibur, The Legend of the Celts. Its success in France led to two other creations ("The Ring of the Celts" in 2007 and "The Origins" in 2012).
Two novels have also been published. As well as 2 live recordings on CD & DVD ("Mythical Concert" in 2000, and "Live A Brocéliande" in 2012).
From July 2009 to January 2010, a spectacular adaptation combining compositions from the first two parts was successfully carried out in Germany under the English title "Excalibur: The Celtic Rock Opera". More than 120 musicians, actors, dancers, and knights! More than 200,000 spectators in 6 months.
Since then, dates have followed in Germany but also in England and France. Since it is in Brocéliande (in the famous Forest) that the concert released on DVD in 2012 was recorded.
After 5 years of absence from the music scene, Excalibur is finally back with a new album. With Alan Simon still at the helm.
