Rare Soundtracks And Lost Tapes - 1973 1984

Description

French composer Alain Goraguer, who first made a name for himself as a sideman and arranger for Serge Gainsbourg, wrote very few film scores, but among them, the legendary La Planète Sauvage (1973) is an essential piece of French music.During the same period, Goraguer wrote two rare and beautiful scores using the same arrangements; In L'Affaire Dominici (1975), Alain Goraguer creates a theme of great melodic clarity from a palette of breathing flutes, baroque D6 clavinet textures, wah-wah guitars, and slow-paced drums that clearly recall the atmosphere of La Planète Sauvage. The same goes for the score for Au delà de la peur (1975) with its descending clavinet melody, bass riff, funky drums, and flashes of bent electric guitars. This record also includes previously unreleased tracks found in the vaults of French national radio: magnificent and timeless orchestral compositions recorded at studio 105 of the Maison de la radio.REMASTERED FROM THE ORIGINAL TAPES.
