Alabaster DePlume worked for Ordinary Lifestyles, a charity that helps disabled people live at home. More specifically, he worked with Cy and Lee. His job was to get them to socialize and he did this by creating songs with them. They composed melodies together, hummed tunes... DePlume recorded these impromptu sessions on his phone then went to the studio and used the material as a starting point for his songs.Alabaster DePlume is a conductor, composer, saxophonist, activist born in Manchester. He resides at the London creative center Total Refreshment Center and is the latest arrival in the growing family of progressive musical explorers from Chicago International Anthem. The music of To Cy & Lee contains naturally elegant orchestration wrapped around something visceral and primal.
