For her first recital recording for Harmonia Mundi, Sunhae Im selected four cantatas dedicated to the myth of Orpheus; the Greek poet who gave birth to modern tragedy at the end of the Quattrocento and then to opera a century later, continued to inspire composers of the late baroque, whether in Italy with Alessandro Scarlatti and Giambattista Pergolesi or in France with Clérambault and Rameau.
