Agnes is a Danish singer, songwriter, and musician who cut her teeth alongside producer ELTON THEANDER at the beginning of her career in the band Sohio. After many years of collaboration, she eventually spread her wings, and it's an understatement to say that she produces all her songs herself and performs live without accompaniment. Philarmonics is the long-awaited album since her EP "Riverside," where her voice, more akin to a bird's song than a pop singer's, was highly acclaimed in Europe. The Dane describes herself as musically close to Roy Orbison. One particularly thinks of Ane Brun, Joanna Newsom, or Riki Lee Jones.
