Recognized as one of the finest writers on the new French scene from her debut in 1998, it was with the album 'Merci maman merci papa' that she gained public recognition in 2005. A unique singer-songwriter on the new French scene, she travels throughout France to sing her songs, her loves, and her angers. Alongside Anne Sylvestre, Yves Jamait, and Charles Aznavour, with whom she has notably collaborated, she is experiencing growing success and impresses with her beautiful and rebellious writing. A woman of her time, Agnès Bihl is above all a great humanist who continues to be moved and who knows how to depict a society whose flaws outrage her as much as its hopes uplift her. In 2009, with Dorothée Daniel and Didier Grebot, she recorded her 4th album, 'Rêve Général(e),' an optimistic record written about the joy of existing.
