Following a long series of concerts in Europe in the summer of 2016, the Africa Express collective announces the release of a live album in collaboration with the Syrian national orchestra and a handful of prestigious guests from England, Mali, Senegal, and Tunisia, including Bashy, Bassekou Kouyaté, Bu Kolthoum, Damon Albarn, Eslam Jawaad, Faia Younan, Julia Holter, Malikah, Mounir Troudi, Noura Mint Seymali, Paul Weller, Rachid Taha, and Seckou Keita. 13 tracks that blend Syrian and Arabic music recorded during their various performances at the Southbank Centre's Royal Festival Hall, Glastonbury, the Holland Festival in Amsterdam, the Istanbul Jazz Festival, and the Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
