Adam H's second album, *Abolition*, marks a significant step forward in his sound and composition work. Adam H draws from a tradition of open-tuning fingerstyle guitar playing, reminiscent of artists like John Fahey or Skip James, while also embracing a much more contemporary approach. He had envisioned working with electric guitars, aligning himself with bands like My Bloody Valentine or Sunn O)))) since the beginning of his project, but had never been able to achieve it. His lyric writing is highly refined and literary, placing him in a tradition of American songwriting akin to Dylan or Cohen, borrowing from mythology and applying it to his personal story.
