ACCEPT ARE BACK IN THE PUREST TRADITION OF GERMAN METAL! THE GERMAN HEAVY METAL PIONEERS RELEASED THEIR HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NEW STUDIO ALBUM VIA NUCLEAR BLAST ON JANUARY 29, 2021. THE INGENIOUS TITLE OF THE MASTERPIECE IS 'TOO MEAN TO DIE'. LIMITED EDITION BOXSET 2LP + CD RELEASED ON MARCH 12, 2021. 'Too Mean To Die' is the band's 16th album and the 5th with Mark Tornillo and his inimitable vocal footprint. Once again, we find Wolf Hoffmann's guitar playing, relentless in the riffs and exceptionally refined in the solos. Today we know that ACCEPT has inspired giants such as Metallica. Kirk Hammett recently stated in the German magazine "Gitarre & Bass": "Wolf Hoffmann has a huge influence on me." Recorded in Nashville, the album was produced by Andy Sneap (Megadeth - Judas Priest). 'Too Mean To Die' contains all the ingredients that made Accept a legend. Special circumstances often lead to very special albums. This is certainly true for 'Too Mean To Die', which naturally alludes to the Corona period, though it does so in a different way than one might suppose. The title track is a classic hit: dynamic and unwavering, turned up to eleven! "Zombie Apocalypse," also relentless and hard-hitting, strikes the same note in the band's characteristic style. The first single – which will be released on October 2, 2020 with a remarkable video – is different. Titled 'The Undertaker', it's a formidable midtempo number with superb vocals and an integrated character that accompanies you - some to experience unforgettable moments! According to Wolf Hoffmann, it's one of the most catchy and enjoyable tracks on the album. The undeniable variety of Accept's guitar trio is proven on the new album by one of its secret highlights: "The Best Is Yet To Come" - an alluring ballad in which Mark Tornillo is at his best. The metal world knows that Mark can scream like no other, but here, it once again shows that the frontman can also sing beautifully.
