Despite a solid sound and commercial success, "Eat The Heat" (1989), with David Reece on vocals, did not meet the expectations of Accept fans, while their former singer moved towards a more metal style with his eponymous project U.D.O. The release of "Staying A Life", a live archival recording from 1985 with their former singer, made a reunion inevitable.With Udo Dirkschneider on vocals, Wolf Hoffmann on guitar, Peter Baltes on bass, and Stefan Kaufmann on drums, "Objection Overruled" (1993) marks a strong comeback for these German metal legends.The album includes 11 tracks, including the singles "I Don't Wanna Be Like You", "All or Nothing", and the very explicit "Slaves To Metal", written and produced by the band in collaboration with Deaffy, their longtime collaborator.With an enhanced booklet and liner notes signed by Malcolm Dome, based on new interviews with the band, "Objection Overruled" is a choice addition to Accept's HNE catalog.
