It only took two EPs in 2015 for a young American artist from the Atlanta label/collective Awful Records to set the R'n'B scene ablaze. Coveted by all, Abra finally signed with True Panther Sounds/Matador and released the excellent Princess, a blend of influences formed by multiple environments: Miami Freestyle and electro-funk components nourished by the 808 drum machine and garnished with her ethereal R&B voice. Every note on this new EP is written, produced, and performed by the young woman, a composer, producer, singer, and occasional rapper.
