I always knew music was my drug, my rock, my anchor, my true connection. When life crumbles and you land in unexpected places, you perceive with evidence what anchors you and holds you together. Music is an invisible force, a kind of benevolent guide that gives me this innate ability to bring me back to calm, or to uproot me, where I feel grounded. I also love its ability to transport me into altered states of perception. When everything seemed completely frozen, you either curl up in a ball or go all out. I choose the altered option. Escape or feel? A bit of both. Which led me to altered fêtes. This theme is omnipresent in the album. Music production was and still is my safe space, where I can fully dedicate myself to it without walls, rules or judgment. Like a runaway rock, the tracks accumulated over many local and international gigs and concerts over these three years. Play it, interpret it, love it, hate it, repeat it, play it, enhance it, reduce it, make it what it is.
