"Tonton du bled" is an iconic track that marked a decisive turning point in French rap at the turn of the 90s and 2000s. Composed by Rim'K and enhanced by the masterful production of the late DJ Mehdi in 1999, this flagship track appears on 113's debut album, "Les princes de la ville," a classic that has been unavailable for over 15 years. This legendary album achieved platinum status with over 500,000 copies sold and won two Victoires de la Musique awards in 2000. It was a memorable moment at the ceremony when Rim'K, AP, and Mokobé made a spectacular entrance on stage, driving the legendary Peugeot 504 from the music video, to perform their favorite track. A quarter of a century later, "Tonton du bled" is reborn in a new format: an exclusive maxi vinyl reissue. Side A features the original version, while Side B offers an immersive sound experience with the instrumental and a cappella versions of the track.
