Description

This work by Mike Paradinas, conceived as a mirror to the 'Goodbye EP', intensifies rhythms with frantic breaks and omnipresent melodies. It marks the conclusion of the 'Magic Pony Ride' era and even includes a third version of the eponymous track. Personal touches are scattered throughout: 'Iggy's Song' uses a slowed-down sample of his son crying, 'Ávila' pays homage to his father's hometown in Spain, and 'Green Chaos' gives a nod to RP Boo. The B-side becomes more intriguing: 'Pyramidal Mind Dispersion' slows the tempo while intensifying the tension, 'Modulating Angel' merges a drum & bass rhythm with apocalyptic choirs, and the last two tracks evoke the experimentation and melodies of his classic Lunatic Harness.
