{"product_id":"yo-la-tengo_stuff-like-that-there_2015","title":"Stuff like that there","description":"While they have just celebrated thirty years of career, Yo La Tengo return with a new album titled \"Stuff Like That There\" to the great delight of the many fans of this icon of the American indie scene. The trio made up of Ira Kaplan, Georgia Hubley and James McNew becomes a quartet again with the return of former member Dave Schramm on electric guitar, as they revisit the original concept of their album \"Fakebook\" - a mix of covers, reworked versions of their own repertoire and unreleased tracks - which is celebrating its 25th anniversary and had deeply marked their discography. There is no doubt that this new album will follow the same path with, among others, superbly reinterpreted covers of The Cure ('Friday I'm In Love'), The Lovin' Spoonful ('Butchie's Tune') or Hank Williams ('I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry'). The magic also works on covers from their own repertoire such as 'Deeper Into Movies', proof of the band's mastery. And that is precisely what makes 'Stuff Like That There' a remarkable album: it gives the impression of a masterfully crafted work by a band with an inimitable style, while retaining the freshness of their beginnings. The recipe for great albums!","brand":"Yo La Tengo","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":58794694213976,"sku":null,"price":23008539.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/0744861107927.jpg?v=1792017846","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/yo-la-tengo_stuff-like-that-there_2015","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
