'Plum' was recorded over several weekends in winter 2019 by Sam Evian (Cass McCombs, Kazu Makino, Hannah Cohen) at his Flying Cloud studio in the Catskills, and mixed by Ali Chant (PJ Harvey, Aldous Harding, Perfume Genius). Alongside Molly (vocals and guitar) and Robert (guitars, bass, and synth), contributions include Andy Weaver (drums), Michael Hess (piano), and Sam Cohen (bass and synth). 'Plum' nestles into the band's oeuvre as if it had always been there, but with new textures – like the polyrhythms on \"Amy\" and \"The Good Ones,\" or the Terry Riley-influenced track, \"Jeanie.\" 'Plum' was finished just as spring was announcing something, as everything was changing.
