After touring last year as support for The Libertines, Tim Burgess, and Morcheeba, and last month for Peter Doherty, Vona Vella performed at The Great Escape in Brighton, played a headline show in London, performed at the Dot2Dot Festival in May, and supported Reverend \u0026 The Makers in Bristol on June 11th at Dareshack. Further headline shows and festival appearances will be announced soon. Vona Vella consists of 21-year-old singer-songwriters and multi-instrumentalists Izzy Davis and Dan Cunningham. The band officially formed in autumn 2020 after Ross Godfrey from Morcheeba heard their (then unreleased) single \"Sun\" and decided to remix it. Once released, it became an instant viral hit, accumulating over a million streams. Vona Vella released their debut EP, \"Go Outside Forever,\" in early 2022, which received a glowing review from Paul Heaton.
