Formed in 2020 around a shared passion for 90s psychedelia, classic shoegaze, and emerging alt-country bands, their origins trace back to the discovery of an Electriclarryland cassette by Butthole Surfers (1996) that had fallen off the wall, on which someone had noted the track \"TV Star.\" What followed was less the formation of a band than the creation of a small ecosystem. Ashlyn Nagel (vocals, keyboards), Bryan Coats (guitar), Che Hise-Gattone (guitar), Mark Palm (bass), and Tucker Devault (drums) brought their ideas, unique traits, and musical backgrounds, until the songs ultimately reflected each of their personalities.
