However, far from cover-band clichés, the band only performs original compositions and can boast of having produced and arranged their records from A to Z, faithful to the DIY philosophy of the Chambéry collective Larsen, which has endured since the 80s. The opening song, \"Ain't Got No Love\", sets an immediately addictive tempo and quickly reveals violin arrangements that will play an important role in the album's aesthetic. Benny Gordini, singer and composer of most of the tracks (also behind the Larsen and B-Soul stables), reveals the main theme of the album, love - \"Love\", of course.The only 'ballad', but oh so danceable too, \"It Must Be Love\" shines with its female choirs on string pads and unfolds in a soft and moving way.\"D-Funk\", meanwhile, takes us straight back to the 'boogie' grooves with its enthusiastic riffs and choruses that urge us to dance all night, to the sound of the 'talkbox' (a combination of synthesizer and vocal articulation)!On side B, \"Love Is What I Want\" crystallizes the 'Slushy sound': a groovy and solid mid-tempo, a clear chorus, classy choirs and impeccable keyboard-guitar motifs; but the song goes beyond this formula by bringing surprise after surprise, vibraphone and trombone solos, violin pads, psychedelic effects...\"Masterplan\" and \"New Salvation\" immerse us in a more direct funk: sharper and faster riffs, but still contrasted by the softness of the arrangements.
