{"product_id":"the-fall_the-unutterable_2025_soc","title":"THE UNUTTERABLE","description":"\"The Unutterable\", originally released in 2000, was the band's 21st studio album. This box set features the Testa Rossa mixes and two concerts from that era. This box set, like other Fall reissues, was produced in collaboration with Fall expert Conway Patton, and includes liner notes by Fall guru Daryl Easlea. Mastering was handled by long-time sound engineer Andy Pearce, and the artwork was designed by Becky Stewart. The Fall was an English post-punk band formed in Manchester in 1976. Since then, the band has gone through various line-ups, essentially centered around its founder and only permanent member, Mark E. Smith. Initially associated with the late 1970s punk movement, the band's music has undergone several stylistic changes over the years, but is often characterized by an aggressive, guitar-heavy sound and frequent repetition, always accompanied by Smith's distinctive vocals and often cryptic lyrics. The band is known for its prolific output, with over 25 studio albums released, and more than three times that number if live albums and other releases are included. Apart from a few hit singles in the late 1980s, they never achieved widespread commercial success, but maintained a solid following. The band was long associated with BBC disc jockey John Peel, who promoted them from the beginning and named The Fall his favorite band, famously stating: \"They are always different, always the same.\"","brand":"The Fall","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":55513745883480,"sku":null,"price":23993053.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/5013929192218.jpg?v=1761590340","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/the-fall_the-unutterable_2025_soc","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
