Like previous works, the album was primarily recorded in Berlin, at Impression Studios by Robbie Moore. Moore also plays in the studio band alongside Mulrooney, Earl Harvin (Tindersticks), and Iain Faulkner. Misneach is Tau \u0026 the Drones of Praise's boldest and most ambitious work, surpassing past expectations to engage with a reimagined future of interactions with the world, both within and outside ourselves. Misneach is a homecoming for Mulrooney, establishing Ireland as the backdrop upon which the songs are built. Celebrated Irish folk troubadours Damien Dempsey and Pól Brennan, from Donegal's legendary band Clannad, are just two of the sixteen guests featured on the album.
