After a period spent and recorded in southern Spain, the brothers returned to West Yorkshire, expanded their live lineup, and toured the United States as the opening act for producer and artist Skinshape (William Dorey). During the tour, they recorded the double A-side \"Forever Heaven\" \/ \"Changing\" at Max Shrager's studio (Say She She, That's Love Records) in New Jersey. Inspired by this collaboration, they then joined Skinshape in London to record It Could Be Today. Produced with vintage equipment and classic instruments, the album blends blue-eyed soul, California grooves, and psychedelic pop. With drummer Ben Spruce and additional contributions from Skinshape, the record is rich in shimmering guitars, warm bass, lush keyboards, and strings, driven by Reuben Vaun Smith's distinctive voice.
