Following this are the offices for Christmas Day: lauds, midday office, vespers, and compline. The hymns, antiphons, and psalmody are mostly original compositions (based on AELF texts), adapted for parish settings: both beautiful and melodic, yet simple enough to be sung by the congregation. The offices are those of the Apostolic Benedictine Fraternity for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. They are performed by Sister Agathe and a small choir. The interpretation and accompaniment aim to be understated and quite close to reality, while being enriched to encourage a pleasant and repeated listening experience at home.
