The album’s release and the tour were immediately postponed. Daptone can now announce, with joy and relief, that Sharon Jones is back! While other artists are content to ride the waves of fleeting trends, Sharon Jones \u0026 The Dap-Kings have refused to take the beaten path. In addition to being destined to become the iconic album of a prolific band, Give The People What They Want has everything it takes to make soul history. The album opens with “Retreat!”, a fast song with menacing arrangements, which gives way to “Stranger To My Happiness,” a track in the spirit of Detroit soul, followed by “We Get Along,” a feel-good anthem. Song after song, Give The People What They Want reveals its unbridled soul and confirms the studio mastery that this band, whose sound is universally acclaimed, now possesses.","brand":"Sharon Jones","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":58738695831896,"sku":null,"price":22930547.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/0823134003224.jpg?v=1791759548","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/sharon-jones_give-the-people-what-they-want_2014","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
