{"product_id":"sarazino_ya-foy_2011_disco-virgin-music-group","title":"Ya foy !","description":"Sarazino is the personal project of Lamine Fellah, a musician, songwriter, and composer, born in Algeria who followed his diplomat father around Europe and Africa. He then went to Montreal to study and created the group Sarazino. A true nomad, therefore, and his music reflects all these influences. It was during a trip to Ecuador in 1996 that he fell in love with Latin American music. He decided to settle in Quito, where he has since been a very active music producer. In 2003, Sarazino's second album, \"Mundo Babylon,\" was released by the Ecuadorian label MTM, and the Latin American influence is already very noticeable. Its release attracted the attention of Jacob Edgar, the artistic director of the Putumayo label, who included two tracks by Sarazino on his thematic compilations \"World party\" and \"Latin reggae.\" Subsequently, Edgar founded the independent label Cumbancha and invited Sarazino to be featured. Throughout \"Ya foy!\" (\"Here we are\" in the Baoulé dialect of West Africa), Sarazino offers a musical melting pot of roots reggae and Latin grooves, flavored with Arab and West African spices. Many of his songs feature the vocals inspired by Beninese Revelino Aguidissou, who is also an immigrant in Quito. Ecuadorian guitarist Pablo Estrella adds his tasty riffs, and among the guests, we also note the reggae legend Toots Hibbert of Toots \u0026 the Maytals and the Latino \"toaster\" Blanquito Man from the ska rock group King Chango. The result of this musical blend is a tasty stew of catchy and accessible songs, the soundtrack of a true world party.","brand":"Sarazino","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":57847810064728,"sku":null,"price":23589791.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/sarazino_ya-foy_2011_disco-virgin-music-group","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
