After working on Primal Scream’s era-defining album Screamadelica, not to mention his groundbreaking remixes for bands such as New Order, My Bloody Valentine and the Happy Mondays, Weatherall was as revered by indie music fans as he was cited by hardcore ravers. The growing demand for his services led him to team up with Kooner and Burns to form the trio The Sabres Of Paradise. The first track on Sabresonic was originally a remix of Primal Scream’s “Don’t Fight It Feel It”, but it underwent such a radical mutation that it turned into something entirely new.
