As the title suggests, Rollo began this new DIY project in the quiet of his own home and drew inspiration from the many subtle small things that happen just outside his bedroom window. 90s hip-hop, film soundtracks, and shoegaze are just some of the influences explored in this varied work. 'Out of My Window' was sampled by the famous DJ Yoda and traveled across the ocean to land in the hands of Brooklyn-based duo The Still Brothers, who gave it new life through their brilliant production and arrangements, as well as the expertise of producer Mike Hill (Arlo Parks, ISLAND) at Lemontree Studios in Los Angeles. The EP's length serves as a metaphor for a day, as it spans approximately 24 minutes, each representing an hour of the day.
