Nicolas spent his entire childhood in Francheville, a small village in Normandy. He began music theory and piano at the young age of 4, and wrote his first poems and songs at 15. He also became interested in electronic music and bought his first synthesizer. With a friend, a fan like him of the entire new wave scene, he formed a first duo and made some demos and played some concerts. In the early 90s, he joined a film school and became a sound engineer. There he met Christian Schreurs (ex-Venus) with whom he would form the duo Laconic, and also Jérôme Minière, whose first album Monde Pour N'Importe Qui he would mix. He signed a publishing deal with Delabel in 1998 and then dedicated himself entirely to music: personal projects, Laconic and Primaa, as well as film scores. In 2003, Nicolas wanted to perform his own songs: he took singing lessons at the Studio des Variétés with Sarah Sanders and began a long series of concerts, including opening acts for Raphaël at the Bataclan and La Cigale. In 2005, he collaborated for the first time with Matthieu Imberty, guitarist and composer, formed a band, and released 2 albums under his own name, Une Île À Ma Portée and Un Peu de Nous. At the same time, Nicolas composed for numerous films such as Darlin, Le Poulpe, about twenty documentaries such as Les Nouveaux Explorateurs on Canal +, and numerous commercials.
