The idea for this project came to Lens during a bike ride through an unusually empty Brussels. He remembered the magical stillness of the Rinzai Zen temples he had seen in the Japanese countryside. Memories of these structures and the inner peace he experienced while visiting them were the initial inspiration for the minimalist, sometimes trance-like music of L.I.T.A.N.I.E.S. The album features Denzil Delaere, N.L.
