{"product_id":"maria-portugal_1976original-soundtrack_2023_dif","title":"1976\/Original Soundtrack","description":"After releasing her first album \"EROSAO\" (Fun In The Church 2021), Maria Portugal is now releasing the soundtrack she composed for the Chilean film \"1976.\" Directed by Manuela Martelli, the film premiered at the Directors' Fortnight in Cannes in 2022 and has received numerous awards, including at the Tokyo International Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival, Athens International Film Festival, and Jerusalem International Film Festival. Portugal combines analog synthesizers (especially ARP-2600 and Moogs) with brass and woodwind instruments to create a poignant score that evolves with the film's character, in a continuous process of humanization where the artificial becomes human. The score benefited from the participation of Rotterdam-based horn player Romain Bly (Bonsai Panda), Brazilians Maria Beraldo and Joana Queiroz (Quartabê) on clarinets and bass clarinets, and German tuba player Carl Ludwig Hübsch. Beraldo's improvisations on clarinets and Hübsch's on tuba are particularly significant in the written score.","brand":"Mariá Portugal","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":55307254858072,"sku":null,"price":0.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/4260437159016_2aa52acf-9eea-4210-9167-ded4856628aa.jpg?v=1760308467","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/maria-portugal_1976original-soundtrack_2023_dif","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
