Is it a reflection of the band's latest developments? The \"newcomers\" have now found their stride and are an integral part of the group. This new creation is honed by each member's experience. It's the first album that is (almost) entirely self-produced in Nicolas Saillan and Fabien Tastet's \"33 Tour\" home studio in Gironde. Les Hurlements d’Léo have skillfully assembled the \"bits\" to hoist the genoa rather than the jib against all odds. With 20 years of experience, it must be said that they master the \"gauge.\" The intoxicating liters of youth and innocence have given way to a clever alchemy. The richness of the arrangements only adds to their flavor. Vincent Serrano's marvelous oud enchants, electro samples energize the compositions, Napo Romero's guitar rocks the whole thing, the unwavering Jojo swings his blades, the brass and woodwinds blow with finesse—it's a true group effort, coherent and remarkably effective. A collective work.\nFrom the opening, the eponymous \"Luna de Papel\" is magnified by the delightful voice of Aurélia Campione from La Cafetera Roja. With its prominent chorus, the first track has substance and is sure to be a highly anticipated concert highlight! A change of tack, \"Cumbia\" brings Anton Dirnberger \"Twan\" back on board; though he doesn't have his sea legs, having escaped his native Austria, he masters a catchy flow and ventures into Spanish territory—immediate boarding for an illustrious, arduous epic. The lyrics, written by Laurent Kebous with the collaboration of Jean Fauque for \"Social traitre\" and \"Luna de Papel,\" Sancho Bala on 4 tracks, Fabien Cazaubon, as well as Julien Arthus, the saxophonist, and Nicolas Saillan, the drummer, possess the depth and lucidity of \"outsiders, hooligans, madmen, Apaches.\" The more introspective writing reflects the reality of each band member, where everyone contributes their voice, their identity. Heartfelt on \"Quand tu seras la bas\" sung with Ogre Frédo, vibrant on \"Mourir de vivre,\" fist raised on \"L’appétit\" with Arno Futur and all his fire, or the rebellious \"Social traitre\"—the great journey spares no listeners and surprises with every turn. Les Hurlements d’Léo nonetheless remember their roots: the rockabilly of Hot Pants on \"Des hauts des bas,\" the fury of No One Is Innocent on \"L’appétit,\" and, much more improbably, the tropical nonchalance of a Mac DeMarco on \"La ferveur.\" Always with talent and personality.\n\"Luna de Papel\" disorients, amazes, stuns—an album that reflects the eight \"gueules cassées,\" the eight adventurers of life, the Leo of 2018.","brand":"Les Hurlements d’Léo","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":55310159774040,"sku":null,"price":23916331.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0898\/4943\/0360\/files\/3760063731286_7a2ccf7f-93a8-49cb-afde-180419ed3660.jpg?v=1760316905","url":"https:\/\/vinyles.com\/en-us\/products\/les-hurlements-dleo_luna-de-papel-lp_2018_irf","provider":"Vinyles.com","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
