Released for the first time on blue vinyl and as an eye-catching picture disc, Teases \u0026 Dares was Kim's fourth studio album, first released in November 1984 following a record label change. It includes the singles \"The Second Time\" (released in America under the title \"Go For It\"), \"The Touch,\" and \"Rage To Love\"; both formats now come with the bonus tracks \"Lovers On A Beach\" (originally the B-side of \"The Second Time\") and a cover of the 1962 Shirelles song \"Putty In Your Hands\" (the B-side of Kim's UK number 19 hit \"Rage To Love\"). Introducing Kim to a wider audience, \"The Touch\" featured in the 1985 romantic comedy Secret Admirer, while the album track \"Is It Over\" appeared on the soundtrack of the comedy thriller Fletch. Teases \u0026 Dares marked the first time Kim received a sole writing credit (for the tracks 'Fit In' and 'Shangri-La' – she was also credited for keyboards on both), and it listed her as co-producer of the album, alongside her father and brother Marty and Ricky Wilde.
